Glenn's Page!
Hey There! Thanks for stopping by my page. I must apologize for not having anything on my page yet. I have been soooooo freakin busy lately, it is unreal. Not to mention that every time I sit down to write something, I have a gig diary to write. Speaking of which...I almost stopped writing them because I didn't think anyone was really reading them. So, we put a counter on them and I was proven to be very wrong. Long story short...I'll keep on writing them...
Anyway, as I search for some totally embarrassing pictures of myself, I will tell you a little about me. Obviously I'm the bass player of this band. I have been playing music since I was a kid. My mom sat me down in front of the piano for the first time when I was two years old. By the time I was old enough to understand, I was taking piano lessons. How many years? To tell ya the truth I don't know. Then in school I took up the trumpet...yes....I said trumpet! That lasted about a year. At that point I started taking guitar lessons. How long you ask? I'm not quite sure, but if memory serves me correctly, it was about 4 years or so. By now I was in high school and putting together my first band. We couldn't find a bass player, so I said...what the heck, it's less strings, I can do it! That was that...I have been playing bass ever since.
Approximately 16 years!!!
As far as my real job goes...I currently work for a company out of Norwalk that sets up trade shows around the world. It's sales, and it's a living! If you don't know by now, I used to be "famous"...if you want to call it that. I spent about 9 years on the air at WPLR as "Glenn w/ 2 N's" It was
a lot of fun. I met and interviewed many a rock star, and built up a pretty nice library of cd's too. BUT...it wasn't paying the bills, so I moved on.
Here is some useless information to look at. I promise some hideous pictures soon...
Equipment: Tobias Growler 5 string bass
Mesa Boogie 4 x 10 cab
Gallien Kruger 700rb head
